Is it that time already??? Yes it is, all aboard the hype train for Secret Santa!

For reference, this screenshot was taken on 10/26. Cardphere's discord is full of eager beavers ready for Secret Santa to fall down their chimney, steal their cookies, and perhaps leave a gift under the tree. Previous years have been fantastic, and we're going to add a little spice to this year's egg nog to make things frisky.

How it works

Once confirmed to be an active Cardsphere user, you'll receive a message from Cardsphere's own Secret Santa via the Cardsphere messaging system with a link to another user's profile, a brief description of their interests, and their mailing address. You send them out something nice in the mail. Someone else draws your profile and does the same thing for you.

Extra Spice

Since this is our 6th year, every 6+10th user that signs up will receive a bonus gift from Secret Santa! This means the 6th, 16th, 26th, etc. users that sign up will all receive a little extra something from the North Pole. Er maybe from Austin, TX, I hear Santa hangs out there sometimes.

Rules

By signing up, you agree that you will send to anyone with whom you've been paired. We'll work to pair each user with others in the same country, if requested. Cardsphere is an international community, and often times shipping to another country costs more than the gift itself. We typically have plenty of folks whom are willing to ship internationally, though we understand this is a deal breaker for some.

The gift you send should be worth at least $15.00 USD, and no more than $20.00 USD. As Ted always says, we're just trying to make people smile, so including a personal note or something special or unique is encouraged.

You must mail your gift with adequate time to arrive by December 25th. Typically domestic mail takes 2-3 weeks during the holiday season, and international mail is around 5-6 weeks. If you want to pay extra for expedited mail, this is allowed.

Important! As with any mail, there is always a risk of lost packages. Cardsphere sees a loss rate of under 0.6%, but it still happens. This event is about the giving, not the receiving, so don't get upset if your package somehow gets lost. Just be happy that you made someone happy. Cardsphere cannot be held responsible for any undelivered packages.

To join, complete this form and Cardsphere's own Secret Santa will contact you via the Cardsphere messaging system. Registration closes November 14th!

If you have any further questions, contact Santa by messaging him here.

Can't wait to see what everyone sends out, cheers, prost, and salud!
