Cardsphere's First Annual Secret Santa

Ted Rodney • November 6, 2017

Hello Everyone!

In our first six months, the thing that has stood out as most amazing about Cardsphere is the fantastic community. Our users have proven time and time again that we're not just trading cards online. We're making good friends, helping those who need help, and just being plain old awesome. Of course we want to do a Secret Santa.

Now, the Cardsphere team is super busy building, testing and supporting the site itself, so happily two community members have stepped up to run the Secret Santa for us. So, while Cardsphere does endorse the fun, Gunhoe and Woadworks are the fellas who'll be running the show. We thank them for their time and attention - users like them are what makes the community great.

To enter, send an email with your profile ID to santa@cardsphere.com before November 15th. Click your username and then Profile, and copy the URL in your browser's address bar.

Once confirmed to be an active Cardsphere user, you'll receive an email back with a link to another user's profile and their mailing address. You sent them out something nice in the mail. Someone else gets you and does the same thing.
Here are the rules:

  1. By signing up, you agree that you will send to anyone with whom you've been paired. Cardsphere is an international community, and if you get matched with someone in another country, your shipping costs will be higher.
  2. The gift you send should be worth at least $15.00 USD, and no more than $20.00 USD. We're just trying to make people smile, so including a personal note or something special or unique is encouraged.
  3. You must mail your gift with adequate time to arrive by December 25th. Typically domestic mail takes 2-3 weeks during the holiday season, and international mail is around 5 weeks. If you want to pay extra for expidited mail, this is allowed.

Important! As with any mail, there is always a risk of lost packages. Cardsphere sees a loss rate of under 1%, but it still happens. This event is about the giving, not the receiving, so don't get upset if your package somehow gets lost. Just be happy that you made someone happy. Cardsphere cannot be held responsible for any undelivered packages.

If you have any further questions, please direct the to the email santa@cardsphere.com for assistance.

I'm going to sign up for sure, hope everyone else does too!

Hohoho,
