Sphere of Influence: June 5th, 2026
Jeskai Revelation | Art by Igor Grechanyi
With Marvel Super Heroes right around the corner, we're in for another shakeup of popular formats like Commander and Standard. However, while we wait for that set to release, there's still time to get ahead of a few cards that could be rising in price and playability right now, so let's dive into the Sphere of Influence to take a look at four singles that you might want to either add to your Wants or Haves list here on Cardsphere!
Bottle-Cap Blast - $6
Kicking things off today we have an uncommon from Fallout that's recently started to become more sought after. Bottle-Cap Blast serves as removal as well as a form of ramp at instant speed. Plus, it has improvise, which allows you to tap your artifacts to help cast the spell, meaning it could be played for far cheaper than it looks. It's currently gaining notice in Commander, where several new legends, like Mica, Reader of Ruins, have synergized well with it. Keep an eye on this one, because the price may rise more and more over the coming weeks.
Jeskai Revelation - $5
At first glance, Jeskai Revelation might look like a bulk mythic, having just too high of a mana cost to run in most lists. However, this spell has been an all-star in Standard's Jeskai Control deck, turning losing games into wins. Locking down the board in order to work your way up to this big bomb is the plan, and trust me: it works (I may or may not have been wrecked by this deck on Arena last night). Plus, you can sit back and cast this in response to something, stopping your opponent's plan, and excelling yourself towards closing things out from there.
Khalni Garden - $2
Next up, we have a land that has risen in playability thanks to Witherbloom, the Balancer. Khalni Garden hits play and makes you a creature token, getting you that much closer to landing this Elder Dragon. This card has been reprinted several times, but we haven't gotten a new version recently, which means that it could rise in price more and more over time, so if you have a box full of commons, it might be time to start digging through that to see if this is hiding there.
Tarrian's Soulcleaver - $4
Voltron is a very popular strategy in Commander, where you often load up one creature with all kinds of powerful Equipment, which is why Tarrian's Soulcleaver fits perfectly into those lists. As Treasure and Aristocrat decks continue to get thrown together, this piece of Equipment will become even more powerful. It triggers whenever any artifact or creature is put into the graveyard, not just your own, so whenever anyone cashes in their permanents for value, you get to gain advantage as well.
Until Next Time
There you have it, four cards that are rising in playability and price right now. I hope this list gave you some incentive to go back through your binders or bulk bins to see if any of these singles are hiding in your collection. If you're looking to pick a few of these up, or maybe trade them in for value, be sure to add them to your Wants or Haves right here on Cardsphere.
