Cash-ins under $25 now available

Hello, traders!

Today we are changing our minimum buy-in amount for those adding stored funds to their accounts.

TL;DR

• Users may now cash in for amounts less than $25.00.
• There is a small convenience fee added to cash-ins less than $25.00.
• Cashing in an amount of $25.00 or more still has no fees applied.

We’re rolling out an update today that lets users cash in for less than $25.00 with a small convenience fee.

Users who have been with us since we opened in 2017 may remember that the $25.00 threshold helped protect Cardsphere from payment processing fees from providers like PayPal and Stripe. When users cash in, Cardsphere absorbs those fees so the full dollar amount reaches their Cardsphere account balance.

With this change, users can add less than $25.00 by paying a small convenience fee that helps cover our cash-in costs. This gives users the option to deposit smaller amounts when they need funds for a purchase without having to spend $25.00. The lower the amount, the greater the fee; the current maximum is about $1.55, though that may change if our processing costs change. The fee amount does not get added to your Cardsphere balance.

Adding amounts of $25 or more continues to be free.
