Holiday Transit Time Update

Efren Abrego • November 1, 2024

It's that time of year again.  Leaves are changing color, the air is cooler, Mariah is lurking just around the corner, and Ravnica is probably being invaded by something. As fun as that all sounds, it also means that mail is about to begin slowing down for the holiday surge, and we've already seen many packages that were thought to be lost turn up just a few days after a dispute had been settled.

So, the crunch has officially begun. To account for this, we're switching to our Holiday transit time schedule. Packages shipped after November 1st will be allotted an extra week to arrive before any ruling is made on an associated dispute for both domestic and international trades.  For the updated transit times, please see the table below:

Shipped Open Dispute Domestic
Open Dispute Int'l
Wait Time
Oct 31st and earlier After 2 weeks After 4 weeks 1 week
Nov 1st and later After 3 weeks After 5 weeks 1 week

As always, you can still open a dispute anytime if you're concerned about something, but for mail that has not yet arrived,  please follow the guidelines above if all else is normal with the trade.

We don't always have the same end date for "holiday hours" as we make our decision to revert to normal timelines based on how well the mail is returning to normal after Christmas, but based on past years you can expect the timelines to return to normal toward late January or early February.

Thanks, and we hope you have a happy and healthy holiday season!
